Cottonized fiber is being produced originally from short flax fiber. It is widely used in the yarn production/spinning in replacement of cotton fiber. Globally, cotton fiber is scarce raw material and quite expensive, hence cottonized fiber is a good solution in replacing cotton without hurting the quality of the final product.
